Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Singnet (“Singnet”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information across our website and products. It covers the practices common to all of our apps. Each app also has its own privacy notice describing the specific data that app collects — please read it alongside this policy:

1. Who we are
Our products are operated by Singnet, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. For any privacy question, contact support@mail.singnet.in.
2. Scope & relationship
This policy applies to our website and all Singnet apps. You use a single Singnet account across all of our apps; we are the controller of that account and its credentials. Some products are multi-tenant: where an organisation (e.g. a coaching institute) manages data about its own members, that organisation is the data controller and we act as a data processor on its behalf. App-specific details are in each app’s privacy notice. You can delete your data from a single app or your entire account — see Account & data deletion.
3. Information we collect
Across our products we may collect:

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data unless a feature you use requires it, and only with your permission.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our products;
- To authenticate you and send one-time passcodes (OTP) by email or SMS;
- To secure our products — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access;
- To communicate service and account notices;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. How we share information
We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed:

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and services. We do not otherwise share your personal data.
6. Data security
- Traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- Passwords are stored only as salted BCrypt hashes — never in plain text.
- Authentication uses short-lived signed tokens; sensitive actions are re-verified server-side.
- Access to production data is restricted and, where applicable, tenant-isolated.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard measures to protect your data.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data while your account is active or as needed to provide our products, and thereafter only as required for legal or legitimate record-keeping. Backups are retained for up to 30 days. On verified deletion requests we delete or anonymise data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact support@mail.singnet.in. We may need to verify your identity first.
9. Account & data deletion
Because one Singnet account is shared across our apps, you can either remove your data from a single app or delete your entire account:

- Remove your data from one app: SchoolOS · Expense Manager
You can also email support@mail.singnet.in from your registered email, or ask your organisation administrator. We verify identity by OTP and process requests within 30 days, except where law requires retention.
10. International data transfers
Our servers and providers may be located in regions including Singapore and others. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.
11. Children’s privacy
Some products (e.g. SchoolOS) may be used by people under 13 under the management of an organisation or guardian — see that app’s notice. Other products are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
